1 SAFERtec Website Privacy Policy
Analytics.iccs.gr is running the specialized software Matomo (https://matomo.org) for keeping usage statistics of the websites, it is hosting. Matomo is installed in the ICCS’s servers and its data remain in that server.

The SAFERtec project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under grant agreement No 732319. SAFERtec seeks to in-depth explore the involved vulnerabilities of connected vehicles, apply innovative techniques for attack modeling, experimentally validate the quantification of security assurance levels and also contribute to relevant standards. The SAFERtec website is hosted by the Institute of Communications and Computer Systems (ICCS) – http://www.iccs.gr. ICCS is a non-profit Academic Research Institute established in 1989 by the Greek Ministry of Education in order to carry out research and development activity in the area of telecommunication systems and techniques, computer systems, and their applications in a variety of areas such as transceivers, radar and generally electromagnetic sensors, satellite and wireless communications, electromagnetic phenomena modelling, software and hardware engineering and control systems.
Matomo is an open source web analytics platform. A web analytics platform is used by a website owner in order to measure, collect, analyse and report visitors data for purposes of understanding and optimizing their website. 1.2 Purpose of the processing
Matomo is used to analyse the behaviour of the website visitors to identify potential pitfalls; not found pages, search engine indexing issues, which contents are the most appreciated… Once the data is processed (number of visitors reaching a not found pages, viewing only one page…), Matomo is generating reports for website owners to take action, for example changing the layout of the pages, publishing some fresh content… etc.
