03 Feb SAFERtec Final Event | Burg Warberg, Germany | March 10th, 2020
As the SAFERtec H2020 EU-funded project reaches its conclusion in March 2020, this wrap-up session will present the research results of three years of extensive work by its consortium partners; nine industrial, SME and academic partners, who joined their expertise to contribute to the introduction of a security assurance framework tailored for future networked vehicular technology.
SAFERtec Final Event Remote Session’s main purpose is to unveil the project’s latest achievements related to the analysis of the risks in V2I use-cases, the systematic elicitation of security requirements and identification of involved vulnerabilities. To this end, SAFERtec has introduced an Assurance Framework tailored for the automotive setting and accompanied it with an Online Toolkit to assist the automotive stakeholders devise security assurance arguments.
SAFERtec’s outcomes and achievements will be presented during a session with consortium-members’ presentations and a round-table discussion including external experts. Final Event attendees will familiarize themselves with the automotive security assurance challenges and the SAFERtec results providing in parallel their valuable feedback.
SAFERtec Final Event was about to be held physically in historic Burg Warberg castle in Germany on March 10th, 2020, @15.00-18.30.
Unfortunately, in view of the growing coronavirus outbreak in Europe and trying to keep the best precautionary measures possible, we decided that it was better to cancel the physical meeting and we thus made the “transition” to a remote version, which aims to realize our original agenda.
